Drew Barrymore has shocked fans over the unusual way she eats pizza.
The Charlie’s Angels star confessed she controversially scrapes the toppings off and eats them with a salad whenever she’s avoiding carbs.

In a viral TikTok video, the talk show host created a plate of what she described as a “pizza salad”.
“If you’re having a day where you’re trying to not eat bread… I just take the toppings of the pizza and then I make a pizza salad,” the 47-year-old said.
“I’m sure people are going to be like… How dare you do this to a pizza, I get it. I feel really guilty about it myself.”

To make the dish, she filmed herself placing the toppings, which consisted of cheese, olives and capsicum slices, on her plate while she folded up the base of the pizza and placed it to the side.
Drew then poured a dressing over the top before digging in.
“I just take the top of the pizza and (add) a little salad which basically has all the same toppings as the pizza,” Drew explained.
“Then I just kind of mix up, it’s actually really crunchy and delicious.
“I get the satisfaction of eating a pizza.”
She said the method was great for people who were trying not to eat bread or those who are gluten intolerant.

Her video has been viewed more than 2.5 million times – with many stunned by her eating method.
“Drew I’m filing a lawsuit on behalf of pizza,” one joked.
Another agreed, saying “I’ll take the witness stand… this is an abomination to pizza. Never slide off toppings.”

However, many said they felt relieved after watching Drew eat a pizza normally at the end of the clip.
“We didn’t know it, but we really needed to see that bite at the end,” one said.
Another added: “It was so satisfying watching you finally eat the pizza.”
Meanwhile, many applauded Drew for being “real”.
